For Goodness Bakes: Cheesy & Gooey Oreo Cheese Dessert Box

Bonjour encore, mes amis! Bienvenue dans le deuxième épisode de For Goodness Bakes.

This time, the dessert is represented by my one and only mère. Yes, my Mom, I just want to make it fancy. Actually yesterday, before I decided to bake some brownies cookies, I was thinking about making no-bake cheesecake, but we don’t have any cheese cream at that time. And I tell you, cheese cream is very expensive here (under my economic condition at the moment) so I passed the cheesecake, teehee.

This morning my Mom woke me up to help her a bit. On the dining table, the ingredients has already been prepared by her. She said, she was going to make a cheese dessert box. I didn’t know what YouTube video that my Mom watched to get an idea of making this cheese dessert, but I’m pretty sure she developed some of the ingredients on her own.

Here is the ingredients (3 servings):

  •          200 ml milk
  •          3 spoons corn starch
  •          165 grams cheddar cheese
  •           1 pack Oreo
  •          130 ml condensed milk

1. Crush the Oreo cookies, we used food processor.

2. Grate the cheese and put it in the cooking pot. Save a little blocks of the cheese.

3. Pour the milk and condensed milk in the cooking pot, then heat it.

4. Pour the mixture of water and corn starch in the cooking pot.

5. Mix them well, until the mixture become gooey like porridge.

After you make the porridge-like mixture, then just decorate it however you want. Well, what I did is put the Oreo crumbles as the first layer on a small plastic box, then put the cheese mixture for the second layer, and then layer it again with Oreo, and then the cheese mixture again, and then Oreo crumbles again, and lastly—I grate the leftover cheese on top and just crushed another Oreo for decoration. And finally, leave it on the freezer for 2-3 hours.

Here is the sight of the dessert box!

I kind of love it because cheese and Oreo are the two foods that make everything better, right? The mixture is gooey, it reminds me of eating a pudding when it is frozen. But if you want to eat it like a porridge—which I don’t recommend you to—then don’t leave it in the freezer lol. But overall, I’ll give this dessert a 7.5/10 stars.

If any of you love Oreo and cheese, just like me, and want to make a really fast dessert with not much ingredients, then you should definitely try this!

So that’s all for this post. A bientôt sur le prochain épisode de For Goodness Bakes!
